Volunteer helpers from USA; Robynson and Bryce baptized; 93 children at Bible Club with 3 saved
September 2023
What a summer it has been here in Ireland! This year, coming into the Summer months, I was very concerned about how our church was going to do all the evangelistic efforts we normally do, but God provided some help that made everything more than possible! A young lady from upstate New York named Kelly came in June and spent 8 weeks helping with our Youth Camp, soul-winning, teaching Sunday School, the Teen Fellowships, and our week-long Bible Club! It was hard saying goodbye when she left but she was headed off to start Bible College, which is a great thing! I was also surprised to be contacted in July by two young men (twins) from Alabama who out-of-the-blue wanted to come and help us in any way I needed, and when they came (just two weeks later), they actually made our Bible Club a great success! Thank you Joshua and Matthew! We could not have done what we did without them, and Kelly and all our church volunteers who sacrifice so much!
We had our first Baptism this year on July 16. You might remember the man who got saved back in July named Robynson… well, he asked to get baptized as a believer, and so did a young man named Bryce D. They both gave their testimony at the river and our church rejoiced!
Trip to the Netherlands. In the middle of July, I was invited to the Netherlands to preach for a fellow missionary there, so Nita and I were really blessed being with them and their church. It resulted in a teen getting saved, and a man answering the call to preach! Wow!
Bible Club on the Awesomeness of God! During the week of August 7-11, we had a total of 93 children attend our Children’s Summer Bible Club discovering the Awesomeness of God! Three kids got saved! And all the children got amazed at just who God is, and what He has done! This was one of the best Bible Club Themes we have ever had!
Our needs… 1) We have a few more people who need to get baptized! 2) Would you pray for young people to hear the Spirit of God speak to them about their souls, and about living a long life of Christian Service for Jesus? 3) for the wife of a dear Missionary friend of mine named Shiloh Beier (Missionaries to Australia) who is being treated for an aggressive form of Leukaemia. She needs healing, and I am so glad that God can do the impossible!
Your friend and fellow-servant,
Pastor Craig Ledbetter
