September 2025

This Summer, we have had many visitors to church, with many even staying! But at the very same time, we have had to say goodbye to many others who have moved away. Life is like that. But we are so grateful for a packed church almost every Sunday, full of people who seem to love straight Bible preaching and teaching! I continue teaching verse-by-verse through the Book of Genesis and just finished chapter 5 since starting this past January. Genesis is THE foundational Book of the Bible if you want to understand the rest of the Bible for sure! September through November is our slow time as a church, with time set aside for just resting, and a few fun church and family activities. I also set aside time in October for planning all next year’s events and activities. I am already excited about next year’s open doors for the Gospel!

Our Children’s Summer Bible Club was wonderful! The theme was how God prepared young David to face Goliath, and one day be King of Israel! 61 children came throughout the week of August 11-15 and learned how to trust God’s hand to make something great out of their lives in HIS Kingdom! 25 of our church folks (young and old) sacrificed their time and talents to teach, setup, take-down, prepare food and refreshments, as well as do puppets and lead singing during the Club! It was a great week with ONE young lady saved, and a lot of kids helped! Amen!

Our Freedom from Addiction program resulted in 2 adults getting saved in August! They are William H. and Fiona J. and they are continuing week by week to learn how to walk their new life in the Spirit of God’s power, instead of under the power of drugs!

October is our Mission’s Month, and we dedicate just about everything that goes on at our church to evangelism and world missions! We have an Irish missionary family coming and preaching one of the Sundays, as we will encourage our people to give more towards the winning of souls world-wide!

Prayer requests: 1) For all the visitors that have been coming out to church over the past few months, to keep coming; 2) Nita and I are travelling to a Bible Conference in Vermont, and I would appreciate prayers for when I will be preaching; 3) Pray for our church to find and purchase a bigger building for our church to meet in! And 4) pray for God’s help in everything we do!

Your friend and fellow-servant,

Pastor Craig Ledbetter
