4:1-15)
A. Christians Have Trouble Because
“We Ask Not” (4:2) - We have little or no Prayer Time!
B. Christians Have Trouble Because,
When We Do Ask, We Ask Amiss (4:3) - We seem to only have our own selfish desires in mind when we pray - Nothing Eternal in view
C. Christians Have Trouble Because We
Love this World More than We Love God (4:4,5) - spiritual ADULTERY (1 John 2:15,16) - No commitment to Christ!
D. Christians Have Trouble Because We
Are Far Too Proud (4:6,7) - No Yearning/Hungering for God - No soft hearts anymore!

Are Not Serious About Living For God (4:7-10) - No fear of God!
